Lainie decided in 2010 to take her innate ability to make people laugh and turn it into something bigger. She did a comedy writing course with the very funny Mandy Nolan in 2010 and then threw herself tits deep into the open mic scene in Melbourne in 2015 for the next 4 years.

She has MC’d comedy nights, done countless open-mic rooms, a handful of festivals, stand up competitions including RAW comedy, been in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival twice ,and delighted crowds near and far with her very dry and eyebrow-raising sense of humour.
