I’m Lainie Chait,  Byron Bay based performer, DJ, comedian, trivia host, and the voice behind “In the Driver’s Seat’ a radio show/podcast on community radio BayFM. If there’s a mic, a dancefloor, or a room that needs warming up, there’s a decent chance I’m already booked to be there.

I’ve spent years on stages, in a  radio studio and behind the decks, MC’ing for bars, spinning sets that have heart and read the room, running very successful trivia nights and interviewing guests on my podcast.

Byron Bay is home, but I am open to travel for your gig.

Before all that, I turned a life-changing epilepsy diagnosis into a stage show and a book, Electro Girl. Still one of the things I’m proudest of, and still something I’ll happily talk about if you ask. These days, though, you’re more likely to find me behind the decks or on the mic.

I’m currently writing a comedy show to tour and a TV show as a passion project.
